Plant Electrician Job in Swansea, Wales UK
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for an experienced Electrician based at Unilever's Manufacturing site based in Swansea. This is a full time, temp role for 3 months day role covering sickness, paying £23,502.00 pro rata.
This role encompasses manufacturing plant equipment and also facilities equipment; requiring capability of understanding, developing and carrying out improvements on current equipment. You will need to effectively carry out, and contribute positively to, a preventative, planned maintenance system within their area of responsibility. To evaluate problems/faults/non conformances and to put into effect the necessary repairs, both in the short and long term. The role requires you to optimise equipment/services/machinery to the applicable performance standard.
To work in a manner that embraces right first time and to be able to work along side other departments, aware of their requirements/standards, and to work towards a common business objective. You will be required to absorb and be aware of developments in technology and to demonstrate a high level of skill, competence and ability through their unique field of technical expertise. Effectively carry out all duties, working to legal, Company, personal and recommended safety standards. Develop an understanding of the Company quality standards and to impart this, whilst ensuring all maintenance tasks are logged and recorded.

Qualifications / Training Requirements:
1. Indentured Apprenticeship.
2. HNC or equivalent
3. 3 years experience.
4. Experience within FMGC
5. Understanding of Machine Guarding
