A popular bank located in the Poole, Dorset area are recruiting for Case Handlers.

The Role:

The Case Handler will deal with issues and queries resulting from the mis-selling of PPI, taking into account any risks to the bank’s reputation and ensuring that these are handled in accordance with the Financial Services Authority timescales.
Once a PPI complaint has been received it is scanned into the system, to allow the worker to work within a paper-less environment.

Duties:
• Liaising with customers and answering questions relating to the case
• Gathering evidence and investigation into the customer’s query
• Making a decisions and settling the customer’s case.
• Letter writing
• There are constant changes within the role, either to improve the process or in accordance with FCA guidelines.

Applicant requirement:
• Case Handlers must be multi-skilled and able to work flexibly as they may be allocated to any area within PPI, be that Decision making or Logging complaints.
• Customer focused and has clear, strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Organised
• Professional and career minded
• There is clear career progression with a possibility of progressing to QC, (Quality Control), to become an SME, (Subject Matter Expert) or to become a Team Leader.

Details of the role:
Hours: Monday – Friday; Morning shift 7am – 2.30pm
Duration: 6 Months temporary
Training: Provided for 6 weeks – paid
Start date: May 2015
