PMO Administrator Job in Cranberry, Pennsylvania US

Join our innovative team for the following position:

 

Our client located in Cranberry, PA is seeking a PMO Administrator. In this role you will be monitoring Core PMO Processes, managing the PMO infrastructure and promoting compliance with the process standards. You will provide the IT Portfolio management Teams, and other governing entities visibility to portfolio performance to support decision making and strategic planning functions.

 

Additional Responsibilities include: The planning and executing of PMO activities as a resource to Project Management processes; provide the detail needed to carry on these processes; managing the accuracy of the portfolio, project documentation and templates with the need for simplicity and clarity, liaise very closely with many stake holders and other PMO members.

- Provides day-to-day direction to the PMO staff; recruits, oversees training and development of all PMO staff

- Ensures the project portfolio management system – including dashboards is maintained, accessible and useful to various stakeholders and customers.

- Responsibility for selecting and implementing PPM tools and related technologies

- Responsible for the analysis, governance and tools used to plan, create access and balance the candidate projects/programs in the portfolio.

- Communicates the priorities of the finalized portfolio and providing status information on ongoing investments, such that the portfolio can be continuously maintained and reprioritized as new projects are proposed and as older projects are completed or terminated.

- Work with the IT organization and other stakeholders to develop, prioritize, and execute the IT and business portfolio.

 

To succeed in this role you will need the following:

- Experience in progressively responsible information technology positions, Project Management or relevant areas of business

- Proficient in MS Project Server and SharePoint administration and design

- Knowledge of Project Management disciple areas (Scope, Risk, Quality, Human Resource, Financial, Procurement, Communication, Schedule and Integration)

- Ability to create / maintain or lead the creation of deliverables for project planning, execution, reporting, reviewing and decision-making.

- Financial analysis skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools a plus
