The role is primarily one of ensuring clear divisional oversight of AML and KYC activities and escalation and reporting to the divisional executive. Its purpose is to ensure that the division is aware of activities underway to manage its associated risks and to ensure that there are strong plans in place to address these risks and to ensure that any deviations to plans are escalated/reported accordingly. The role will support the IB AML PMO Lead and assist with Business Management requirements for the IB AML Programme as required.
- Front to back role - working closely with Front Office, Operations, Technology, Risk and Compliance teams
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining fit for purpose governance
- Act as programme office for IB AML and KYC activities Front To Back - to include but not limited to:-
Senior Steering Forum establishment and on-going facilitation
Programme planning
Milestone reporting and tracking
Issue Escalation
Budgeting and Forecasting
Responsibilities will include: - Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain an understanding of the Group AML programme and deliverables and understand how the IB AML programme of work delivers against those objectives
- Culture: Ensure that activities embed a culture whereby AML and KYC risks are at the fore front of decision making and contribute to eliminating associated risk
- ·Financial Delivery: Manage investment activities within agreed budgets
Build reporting to surface associated BAU costs - Efficiency and Cost Management: Drive disciplined cost management and a culture of cost consciousness and operational excellence across the firm
- Client Focus: Ensure that new processes and procedures are appropriate and align to ensuring that the customer is being managed fairly at all times
- Regulatory Relations: Ensure that new processes align to compliance rules and regulations
Experience of:
- Programme Office Management within a Financial Institution
- Strong Change Management disciplines
- All the disciplines of a PMO including Risks and Issue Management, Dependency Management, Change Management, Resource Coordination, Communication Planning and Reporting
- Thorough understanding of the project lifecycle and tools/techniques/standards within each phase
