Credit Risk is responsible for managing credit risks and recommending risk appetite for RBS within an effective credit risk framework. The credit risk framework is the collective term for the governance structures, policy standards, control processes and infrastructure established to support the management of credit risk. 

As Policy Oversight Manager, you'll be accountable for the full implementation of, and transition of all Credit Risk business areas to full compliance with the Group policy framework specifically as regards Credit Risk requirements. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all Credit Risk operational processes / policies and the divisional credit policies comply with relevant Group policy standards and deliver a robust assurance programme, ensuring Credit Risk remains compliant with all Group policy, legal and regulatory changes.      

Naturally, as Policy Oversight Manager you'll have the ability to plan and organise your own workload and those of others, utilising proven management skills as evidenced by a track record of delivering projects and initiatives on time and to a high degree of accuracy. With strong attention to detail you'll have an in-depth knowledge of lending processes, Group Credit Policy and the legal and regulatory framework relevant to the Retail market.
