Policy Oversight Manager Interim Contract

An opportunity has arisen for a mortgage arrears/ recoveries specialist to join a major financial services organisation in the capacity of Policy Oversight Manager for a 12 month contract

The role will take responsibility for continuously, reviewing, developing and strengthening the Group’s Mortgage Collections Recoveries Policy ensuring all policy and procedures are regulatory compliant and fully support customers from a fairness and conduct risk perspective. Research, advise and facilitate policy changes, providing support and engaging resource across the department following agreed changes in policy or process, ensuring a smooth handover and delivery through to implementation. Working in partnership with the implementation team, operational managers and the wider business. Recognising the technical aspects of change and ensuring change is applied in accordance with the specified requirements to meet business needs.Write and present recommendations based on analysis and research to senior mortgage collections management and appropriate committees.

This role is available on a 12 month contract basis

The successful candidate will have: · Good knowledge and understanding of mortgage collections and recoveries strategies and procedures· Good understanding of mortgage collections and recoveries regulatory requirements · Good communication interpersonal skills with ability to influence and challenge key stakeholders· Good written communications with the ability to present proposals to all levels of the business· A challenging, logical and structured approach, with excellent organisational skills· An innovative and dynamic style that can drive business improvement· Good self management skills with the ability, in conjunction with the implementation team, to plan change initiatives· Experience of implementing change and business improvements in a technical capacity· The ability to demonstrate flexibility by working as part of a team
