Credit Risk Analytics is currently one of the fastest growing areas in the Financial / Banking space. At a time where risk management is of most importance to the majority of banks in Asia-Singapore, the strategy developed by Analytics functions has never been more crucial.
This vacancy sits within the banks Retail Portfolio Analytics team. Using SAS to extract debt portfolio information from the Datawarehouse and manipulating and analysing the data, you will be part of a larger team that influence the strategic direction of the banks lending policies.
Your daily duties will include:
- Identify through analysis, issues and opportunities relating to performance of consumer loan portfolios, scorecards, policies and strategies;
- Participate in validating data, preparing specifications, preparing for and executing testing, implementation and documentation.
- Participate in the ongoing monitoring of scorecards and associated strategies.
- Develop an understanding of data and make recommendations to resolve data integrity issues.
- Adhoc analysis including portfolio analysis and ongoing reporting needs.
Technical skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary Qualification (Maths/Statistics/Quantitative/Operations Research);
- 4-6 years relevant or similar experience;
- Strong understanding of consumer credit risk analytics
- SAS programming essential, SQL or VBA desirable;
- Good communication skills, professional presentation, enthusiastic.
