About our client
This is an interesting opportunity to join a specialist private equity investor as a portfolio executive. Our client is a private equity investor that has significant experience investing in growth companies in Europe. It has a well established and experienced team of professionals and invests in businesses where value can be added and operational improvements made. The team is extremely hands on with the portfolio and generally takes a majority stake in the investee companies.
Responsibilities
- You’ll join the business as a portfolio executive and be responsible for a number of key areas. You’ll prepare pre-investment research, analysis and due diligence, assist with all aspects of deal progression alongside the partners, review portfolio company reporting, performance and compliance and work closely with the management teams of the portfolio companies. You’ll also ensure investor reporting requirements are met, manage SPV vehicles and Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer compliance. You will also assist with deal exit progression
Skills we’re looking for
- A qualified accountant (ACA highly desirable) from a leading practice, or from industry
- Strong analytical, financial modelling and due diligence skills
- Strong interpersonal communication sills
- Highly entrepreneurial
- Fluent spoken and written English as well as an additional European language is highly desirable
