Position Description:
Scope: Provide administrative support to the Portfolio Management professional staff, while exhibiting professionalism and an attitude consistent with the standards and philosophy of the firm. Responsibilities: 1.Perform routine and special administrative duties as required which include typing correspondence and other miscellaneous documents utilizing word processing, spreadsheet and other company specific software and applications. 2.Familiarity with standard and special forms, reports, and any other such or similar documents used by the department/company and proficiently complete such documents on a regular or as needed basis. 3.Provide telephone coverage, answering in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure calls are screened appropriately and messages are complete, accurate and handled in a timely manner. 4.Make domestic and international travel arrangements and reservations, schedule appointments and meetings, reserve conference rooms and monitor follow-up items to ensure schedules are maintained as required. Prepare associated travel expenses and other such reports. 5.Ability to understand and sort research by macroeconomic themes. 6.Perform various regular and special projects as requested necessitating the gathering, assembling, assimilating, revising, comparing and monitoring of project material and exercising discretion and judgment appropriate to the successful completion of the project. 7.Perform routine duties such as sorting and delivering mail, copying, regular and special mailings and other such tasks required to maintain good organization and orderly work flow. 8.Provide back-up for support staff and work as an effective team player. 9.Perform additional tasks and projects as requested.

Position Requirements:
•Education or experience equivalent to a four year college degree in Finance/Economics. Previous administrative experience of 3-5 years. Type 60 WPM, advanced knowledge of word processing and intermediate knowledge of Excel. •Ability to work quickly and think clearly under pressure. Must be capable of rapidly changing direction based on trading floor demands. Possess good organizational and communication skills, work independently as well as being an effective team player. •Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management. Must be able to follow specific instructions and support other staff members as necessary.
