We are hiring a part-time teller for our Southlake banking center location. The hours are Monday through Friday from 12 pm to 5 pm.
Overall Position Description:
1. Process transactions involving receipt of funds or payment of funds.
2. Knowledgeable of bank products for cross selling opportunities.
Primary Duties:
- Accept and process deposits from customers and/or mail deposits and night deposits.
- Cash checks.
- Issue and redeem savings bonds.
- Sell Travelers cheques.
- Process MasterCard and Visa cash advances.
- Receive and receipt loan payments.
- Process and prepare transmittals of Treasury, Tax and Loan Deposits.
- Process incoming and outgoing collection items.
- Responsible for the ordering of currency and coin based upon supply needs.
- Responsible for the shipping of excess currency to our correspondent Bank.
- Issue lock bags to our commercial customers.
- Prepare Currency Transaction reports. (BSA)
- Maintain monetary log per bank regulations.
- Balance teller drawer and vault daily.
- Responsible for ordering all supplies in the teller area.
- Prepare wire transfer transmittals.

- Follow published Operations Policies and Procedures.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma
- 1+ year(s) previous teller experience
- Detail oriented and good organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal/sales skills
- Customer service skills
