Portfolio Manager/Lead Portfolio Manager – FX, Liquidity & Gold recruitment
Responsibilities
We are looking to hire junior-to-intermediate-level portfolio managers for the Global Fixed Income and FX Divisions. Successful applicants will join one of our various teams that manage MAS' investments in the global government and corporate bond markets and foreign exchange markets.
As part of the team, you will monitor and analyze macroeconomic, political and financial market developments, and formulate, propose and implement investment strategies. You will prepare and present regular market updates and investment strategy reports, and perform a range of operational responsibilities in the day-to-day management of our portfolios. In addition, you may be required on an ad hoc basis to provide market and investment-related inputs to other MAS departments and external official agencies.
Requirements
- Good academic degree and strong analytical/quantitative skills
- Sound basic knowledge of macroeconomics and financial markets/products
- A keen interest in international and regional economic, monetary and political developments
- Prior experience in managing portfolios in investment grade government and corporate bond and FX markets is welcomed
- A deep passion, commitment, and motivation for building market knowledge and investment expertise, and a good team ethic
- Good written and verbal communication skills
