Portfolio Reporting Advisor Job in Buffalo Grove 60089, Illinois US

The Portfolio Reporting Advisor will support the IT Shared Services Team producing operational metrics reporting.

This position is responsible for the creation of reports and metrics using the data from our PPM Tool (Clarity). This position will also need to create ad hoc and standardized reports from various databases and internal reporting systems. The Reporting Advisor works with the different Business Units within IT, Aetna, Mail specialty, Adjudication, Member Client Services, EITS and PBM Corporate Systems developing report showing trends and key quality, effort and financial metrics.

The Reporting Advisor will be instrumental in operationalizing existing reports and taking into consideration the timing and data requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, including Computer Science, Statistics or other analytical field
•Minimum of nine years relevant work experience is required
•Good understanding of data structures and database programming is required
•Proficiency in writing complex SQL required
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including; Excel, Access, Word, SharePoint, Outlook and PowerPoint is required

•Strong analytical skills
•Strong working knowledge of SQL Server
•Experience with a PPM tool, Clarity is a preferred
•Participate in and make recommendations on development of reports
•Design, develop, implement and support various reporting solutions
•Ability to review current processes and reporting and make recommended improvements
•Advanced experience with Access, Excel and SAS/SQL
•Ability to be part of a team environment as well as work independently with limited direction from management
•Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), computer literacy and ability to read and write English
•Ability to handle multiple projects and identify, analyze and solve practical problems taking into account relevant factors and a wide variety of concrete variables
•Ability to meet strict deadlines
