The Role:
Bloomberg is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our new and rapidly expanding Portfolio Analytics and Risk (PORT) team in New York. This role will be responsible for representing the suite of Portfolio Analytics and Bloomberg Professional solutions to both potential and existing clients, including the top tier of financial institutions in the Americas. With a consultative approach, the sales representative will identify our clients' needs and demonstrate how Portfolio Analytics and Risk solutions will help our clients make the best investment/trading decisions. This role demands a confident and client focused individual. Travel is required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years working in OR selling to the buy-side (i.e. pension funds, investment advisors, mutual funds) or 5 years Bloomberg sales experience
- Proven consultative sales and customer relationship skills
- Ability to build and maintain solid client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A self-starter, proactive team player with strong multi-tasking
