Portfolio Specialist

This role aims to support PMs and traders in various aspects of client trade execution. For example implementation of FX trades and hedges, calculating hedge ratios for various portfolios, monthly rebalancing.

The client has a large amount of segregated AuM and often different investment accounts need to be traded multiple times for the same strategy etc. So this role is working closely with traders and PMs helping to ensure smooth running of day to day portfolio management and therefore would be a good move for someone looking to move from middle office and get one foot in the trading environment, and you must take the FSA CF-30 exam.
