Portfolio/Investment Compliance Analyst

Following the increased requirement in pre and post trade analysis and the high value of fines resulting from breaches, a British Fund Manager with a global presence is looking to increase its team. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing system generated exceptions as well as liaising with other areas of the business.

The role will sit in the Guideline Monitoring team Interpreting Investment Management Agreements, coding rules and investigating exceptions. The successful candidate will have the following skill set:

· Experience in Charles River or equivalent system
· General systems experience and the capacity to pick up new skills quickly
· Understanding of equity, fixed income, currency and exchange traded and OTC derivatives.
· Sound understanding of UCITS regulations
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills and team player

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in asset management and will ideally have experience in using Charles River, Sentinel or ThinkFolio. The candidate must be tenacious and willing to take action to protect the firm and its clients’ positions.
