Power, Utilities and Infrastructure Team in Tier 1 Bank recruitment

The Client

Our Client is a full service Investment Bank with world class capabilities across products, geographies and sectors and is backed by a strong balance sheet. For these reasons they have survived the financial crisis relatively unscathed and are looking to add specific individuals to the business given the levels of live executions currently on going and the significant pipeline of 2012. This is the case for the Power Utilities and Infrastructure team. Given the current composition of the team they are looking to add 1 Associate with strong Financing skills (project finance, structured finance or securitisations).

The Team

This Team is 24 professionals in London working across Europe, Middle East and Africa. They offer a market leading strategic advisory, financing and risk management service from their key regional offices around the globe. Currently the work is split 70% Power/ 30% Infrastructure. At the Analyst and Associate level the team work across sectors and products beginning to specialise at the VP level.

2011 was a big pitching year for the team and this year they are really seeing the results working solidly on executions.

They operate on a relatively flat structure enabling individuals at the junior level fantastic exposure to MDs, Clients and the transactions.

Role:

-Exposure across Products (financings, MA and Equities), Sectors and Geographies

-Fantastic deal flow and execution from day 1

-Be part of a team with Bulge Bracket capabilities support but with a flat structure that allows the individuals a high level of exposure to MDs and clients alike. If prove capable strong Associates have been known to run pitches to clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Associate with strong Financing skills to join a team where they can expand their product skillset.

Requirements:

-Associate 1 or 2 with Project Finance, structured finance or securitizations experience from an Investment Banking platform.

-No language preferences

-Strong Education gaining a 2:1 or equivalent from a Top University.
