Practice Nurse
I am urgently looking for Practice Nurses to do agency work through Hays in the Northampton area. You must be experienced in chronic disease management, diabetes, asthma, child and travel immunisations, and women’s health screening.
As a Practice Nurse you must be flexible, adaptable and reliable. You will need to be organised, confident and able to work on your own initiative.
Some of the duties can include:
- Experience in treating small injuries
- Helping with minor operations done under local anaesthetic
- Experience in health screening and family planning
- Experience in running vaccination programmes
- An understanding of infection control procedures
- Ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to keep accurate and up to date patient records
