Practice Nurse Band 5
Hays is working with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to recruit experienced Locum Practice Nurse to at their military base RAF Scampton, Lincolnshire.
Dates Required: 01.10.13 – 30.11.13
40hrs per week
You will be expected to;
Be responsible for the provision of clinical treatment, screening and advice to patients
Provide general medical services and occupational health elements to military personnel
Maintain professional registration and personal portfolio.
Be competent in Venepuncture, Audiology, Asthma and Diabetes Management, History Taking, keyboard/computer skills etc.
Provide immunisation clinics to include the administering of Yellow Fever vaccine
Perform Hearing Conservation clinics.
Run Well Woman Clinics and recall system.
You must have previous experience in Primary Health Care practice. You must hold full NMC registration and be eligible to work in the UK.
MoD Experience would be an advantage.
