Position Description:
SunGard Kiodex, an operating group of SunGard Capital Markets, is an industry leading energy and commodity risk management provider for global hedge funds, financial institutions, and corporations.

Kiodex delivers industry standard commodity analytic s and market data to 135 commodity trading firms globally through asp solutions. Kiodex operates within SunGard's Capital Markets segment which offers a suite of front-to-back, multi-asset, multi-market solutions that cover: integrated, enterprise-wide market and credit risk management, order and position management, securities financing and collateral management, data management, accounting and tax reporting and compliance.

The EMEA team for Kiodex is focused on capitalizing on the challenges of commodity trading throughout the region to further SunGard's growth, regional penetration and market dominance. The team is comprised of 6 individuals located across UK, Continental Europe, Dubai, and US. with additional support provided by SunGard's approximately 5,000 employees and Kiodex' 80 global team.
A Product Specialist (PS) supports the Kiodex Sales organization (Account Executives). It is an exciting and rewarding role that requires the PS to perform the following functions:

Participate in uncovering and evaluating prospective clients' business problems and objectives related to commodities risk management. This includes risk management and related aspects for commercial hedgers, financial intermediaries and derivative trading groups (e.g. hedge funds, proprietary trading groups, fund of funds).

1. Create innovative ways to resolve prospective clients' problems using SunGard Kiodex's suite of products, including the Kiodex Risk Workbench, Kiodex Real Time, and Kiodex Global Market Data.

2. With the Account Executive, craft a strategic sales message that addresses prospective clients' problems, highlights benefits and the value of SunGard Kiodex.

3. Prepare a presentation and product demonstration customized to fit the prospective clients' specific needs and requirements.

4. Conduct an on site or remote demonstration to explain SunGard Kiodex's product attributes that help solve the customer's pain and deliver a value proposition of using SunGard's products.

5. Validating the prospective client's concerns have been address.

6. Act as the technical expert for the commodity models, market data methodology, reporting analytics utilized in Kiodex's suite of products.

Position Requirements:
1. Ability to think critically, to ask pointed questions for complex business processes surrounding commodities risk management. This includes high level business strategies, as well as tactical, day-to-day processes.

2. Prior experience in commodities markets - MUST have at least two years of experience working with commodity derivatives either in a front or mid office role.

3. Creativity and flair to understand risk management issues and demonstrate innovative solutions to the prospect.

4. Ability to articulate and communicate difficult risk concepts to prospective customers in a demonstration/presentation form.
