Role Information:
A sales opportunity has arisen with my client a well-established market leader in wireless communications to the rail industry. As a business, they are doubling year on year, currently with a turnover of £18m, their huge growth phase will see that increase to £100m in 2 years' time. They are taking on staff at a phenomenal rate, [2-3 new staff a week] and look to employ a french speaking pre-sales specialist to join them in covering the French region.
The role will include:
A clear identification of customer requirements, and tracking of any changes as may materialise during what is sometimes a protracted sales process;
Assembling a solution out of third party and our own software and hardware components, and any necessary software amendments as may appear necessary;
Assembling a full costed bill of materials for the design;
Detailed design documentation for customer and internal consumption (you will have access to 3D design specialists for engineering drawings);
Contributing to preparation and approval of bid documents to ensure they are in line with the proposed design;
Overall contribution to technical direction of the business in light of challenges and solutions encountered in dealing with customers.
Candidate Skills Essential:
- Fluent french speaker
- Proven track record in pre-sales to the rail industry or wireless communications.
