Premium Client Management(m/f)
Our client was founded in 1989 and since then they have grown to become one of the world's leading online CFD and financial spread betting providers, with nearly 23 million trades executed annually across Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.
Their success is founded on their ability to deliver a wide range of trading products to customers, from single equities to indices, currencies and commodities. This means their clients don’t need to go to a forex broker, futures broker or a commodities broker to trade these different instruments, they can trade them all through one trading platform. Our client has pioneered the development of online trading in markets around the world to become a world leading spread betting and CFD provider.
The German Premium Client Management Team (PCMT) is responsible for German, Austrian and Swiss business development and relationship management for all DACH based clients. Within the PCMT team there is a separate team which focuses on on-boarding premium clients and client service (12 x 5).

Salary: €40-45k
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide pro-active end to end, high quality relationship management for our premium value clients to ensure a positive, tailored trading experience thereby optimising revenue growth for the business by;
- constantly improving and innovating to create real points of differentiation in our markets;
- identifying and realising opportunities to educate our premium value clients on our products and range of services;
- Applying individual insight to proactively identify ways to improve our service proposition to premium value client - Take ownership for owning and driving an excellent client experience for our premium value clients through all touch points in the client lifecycle. This includes: on boarding, trading execution (including sales trading order management), client retention, query management and education.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of the broader PCM team in researching, identifying and creating relationships and sales opportunities.
- Ensure the PCMs are effectively managing the clients under their responsibility in all respects, including driving expansion of networks and referral business.
- Assist team members in analysing and understanding our client’s USPs and those of our competitors in order to optimise the Company’s position in the marketplace.
- Ensure that best practice standards are applied in the use of all relevant processes and systems including dealing and CRM
- Seek ways to improve the flow of information and knowledge our client has of its premium value clients.
- Collaborate across CMC to ensure that all premium clients’ requirements are identified and relevant IT and trading platform solutions are offered (e.g. preferences, tailored content etc.)
- Negotiate and deliver commercially beneficial business for and on behalf of our client. Will include overseeing the negotiation and preparation of client contracts/terms of business, liaising with in-house legal counsel and trading team where appropriate.
- Keep abreast of global and economic news in order to provide execution trading support to premium value clients.
- Ensure interaction and communication with all other company functions such as Trading, Business Operations etc. are of the highest standard to ensure a high quality customer experience
- Act as a brand ambassador in all client interactions.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Extensive work experience with one or more of the following institutions:
- a retail financial services business providing a Premium Client Service capability; or
- private client management in either an execution or advisory capacity;
- smaller hedge fund;
- investment banking team focusing on premium clients - Excellent knowledge of financial markets and products, in particular CFDs, FX, Spread betting, options, futures including both OTC and DMA execution
- Proven experience in marketing/business development with a strong focus on the customer experience
- Experience of dealing and sales trading execution on behalf their clients
- Able to demonstrate passion, enthusiasm, commitment and an in depth knowledge of financial markets, their products and services
- Proven track record of initiating, building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ability to take initiative and ownership to ensure a consistent, high quality client experience
- In depth experience of trading, technical analysis and basic trading strategies
- Strong analytical skills
- Operates with integrity and an exceptionally high client centric mindset
- Proven experience of servicing a large contact base in specific industry segment and region
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline desirable (e.g. Business, Finance, Economics)
