Presales Executive recruitment
Job Description
The successful candidate will be joining a highly professional, successful and established sales team. The person will initiate and work with the existing sales team to build a pipeline that focuses in providing the Managed Solutions products to the UK and aligned territories. The person will be expected to prospect and generate leads across the managed solutions product range. The solutions range from fully developed and managed customised websites and solutions to market data APIs and desktop terminals
Duties Responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities within prospects and build pipeline
- Initiate contact with new prospects and generate leads
- Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
- Help prepare presentations with prospects
- Arrange and follow up on trials
- Help build and prepare sales and marketing strategy and plans for the products across the territory
- Provide sales and competitive feedback on the market
- Liaise closely and co-ordinate with existing Sales Teams to maximise sales opportunities
- Present the Interactive Data message as well as being able to demo the key solution offerings
The Individual
Essential:
- Minimum 1 years' sales experience
- Knowledge of financial markets and market data
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Competent PC skills covering Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
Desirable:
- Established contact base with financial institutions
- Knowledge of Scandinavian languages
- Able to create simple graphical mockups (e.g. using Adobe Photoshop or similar)
- Minimum undergraduate degree preferred
