Employment Plus is currently seeking a Press-Room Operator in the Lawrenceburg, KY area.
Job Title: Press-Room Operator
Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
JOB SUMMARY:
Prepares dies and stamping presses to produce metal components used to make fasteners for garments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows company policies and procedures in regards to Safety, 5S, Code of Ethics, OSHA Standards, Company Rules, ISO Quality, ISO Environmental reporting possible violations to management.
- Operates manufacturing equipment to produce metal fastener components for the garments using manufacturing equipment with shop orders, blueprints, computer systems, computer programs, measuring devices, work instructions, and hand tools in a safe and satisfactory manner.
- Operates material handling equipment.
- Performs other jobs as needed where trained to do safely and satisfactorily.
- Comply with Compliance Program including Environmental, Quality, Health Safety, and Confidential Information Management guidelines.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
