Job Title: Project Manager

Nature of Work:

Develops, plans and implements projects that relate to Sanmina-SCI's services, involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects. Plans and directs resource schedules as well as project budgets. Individual shall monitor the program and or project from initiation through delivery, and interfacing as needed with customer and executive management on technical issues. Individual shall organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program and or project on schedule and within budget constraints. Assigns and monitors work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of all functions of the program and or project.

Job Duties Responsibilities:
- Conduct and supervise assigned project tasks that are difficult in character, varied in nature and require originality and ingenuity.
- Review progress and evaluate results of all projects.
- Gather factual data on all phases of the project for assigned business units.
- Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
- Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
- Develop and manage special projects based on corporate needs.
- Disciplined in planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.

Other Requirements:

This Project Manager will be a key player in facilitating all project goals objectives and initiatives for the Sanmina Global Services Division. This is a strategic and tactical position, which will require the candidate to be very flexible in adapting to the quick changes by the customer. You must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education- Minimum Bachelors degree in Business Management

Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is a plus but not required.

Travel: Ability to travel globally. Approximately 30% or as individual projects demand.
