Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, constant communication with customers/vendors; preparing and performing bid quotations through electronic interfaces; maintaining and updating electronic files for contracts/requests; requesting and reporting contract price justifications; and meeting contractual deadlines. Ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized, in addition to having strong problem solving and analytical skills/abilities. Must have at least one (1) year of purchasing or related field experience. Also, must have advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Access, MS Word and MS Excel. College degree in business or related field and sales experience is preferred.
