Technical Specialist

Key Accountabilities:

*Develop and lead implementation of new Engineering Practices and Guides(new Engineering Technical Practice and Guide on the methodology of Maximum Anticipated Wellhead Pressure calculations, GWO MoC Guide implementation, Practices and Guides to incorporate into the New Well cp)
*Engage and support Regions with training and embedding programs
*Provide support with other associated GWO practices (e.g. clarity and content reviews on ETP's and Guides)

Educational Requirements:

B.S. in Engineering

Essential Experience and job requirements:

*Strong wells engineering background in a variety of well types
*Project Management skills
*Strong technical engineering skills and ability to prepare detailed technical documents
*Strong knowledge of BP Processes (BtB, ETP's, MoC, etc)
*Self-starter and pro-active
*Good networking and people skills
*IT skills (Microsoft Office)

Desirable criteria and qualification:

*Experience of working in different Regions
*Broad wells experience (drilling, completion, well interventions)
*Detail oriented in technical writing and editing
