Pricing Analyst – Major Energy Company, London. £35

In the competitive business to business energy markets, the demand for bespoke flexible contracts for large IC customers is on a rising trend. As part of a pricing team covering bespoke contracts, you will interact very closely with key sales channels, acting as the commercial pricing analyst for all high value strategic customer tenders. The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring, pricing and tailoring bespoke supply solutions to these high value strategic B2B customers. As well as operational pricing, you will also be involved in development of new pricing tools, systems, and optimising the team's operational solutions to meet bespoke customer requirements.

Exposure to the high level of clients in this space will provide the successful candidate with fantastic market knowledge to help further their career. Demonstrating a rare blend of strong technical, financial, energy pricing and risk knowledge, you may also have the opportunity mentor junior members of the team in a commercial and customer focussed environment.

The successful candidate will have a relevant technical degree, plus previous experience in a similar Pricing role within the Energy industry. The following knowledge is also required:

- Demonstrable numerical analytical skills, including Excel and VBA Modelling ability for modelling price curves

- Excellent experience within predominantly the UK electricity markets

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with clients confidently

- Presentation skills and negotiation skills
