Pricing & Valuations Team Leader
Asset management firm in the City is looking to hire a team leader to join their Pricing and Valuations team. Due to recent restructuring the role will report straight into the Head of UK Fund Administration. You will lead a team who conduct oversight of an external pricing administrator and provide pricing experience and support to the team.
Responsibilities will include;
Oversight of outsourced pricing administrator
Attend review meetings and agree KPIs
Liaison with Trustee, Custodian and Auditors
Management and board reporting
Cover UK unit trusts, OEICs, charity and life funds and also provide assistance to onshore and offshore Investment Trusts
Attend pricing oversight review visits
Review of daily price releases
Review of performance fee calculations
Review hedged share classes including oversight of performance and collateral
Ensure reportable late trades are minimal
Review price errors with administrator and ensure required remediation occurs
Conduct fair value pricing policy at both market and security level
Identify incorrectly priced securities
Review fund accounting and custody invoices
Review accuracy of daily prices
Oversight of outsourced class action service
Monitor overdrafts and daily compliance monitoring
Ensure Fund Managers agree fund values on a monthly basis
Oversight of month-end performance valuations
The successful candidate will have a strong background in the production and review of unit trust and OEIC reports. Supervisory/ management is required for this role as well as experience of interaction with auditors, regulatory bodies and trustees.
