Senior Loan Portfolio Credit Analyst – Investment Bank recruitment
The Role:
• Monitoring the large loan credit portfolio, which is of a broad nature.
• Reporting on the bank’s credit exposures to the Credit Committee, including high level presentations.
• Assisting in the review of new transactions and risk limits using investment grade ratings and detailed data analysis.
• Undertaking credit stress testing on the portfolio.
• Dealing with management on regulatory queries.
The Person:
• 5 years previous experience in a banking credit analysis role.
• Third level degree in Science / Engineering / Quantitative Techniques / IT.
• Strong analysis skills, including understanding of financial statements and corporate reports.
• Knowledge of the workings of credit committees, rating agencies and regulators.
• Deep understanding of technology with strong personal computing skills, Advanced Excel essential.
• Highly organised and attention to detail.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
