Principal Pricing Specialist recruitment
Do you have General Insurance Pricing/Underwriting experience?
Opportunity to join a Project Pricing team within a leading commerical insurance brand.
Products include; SME - property, residential, trades, shops, pubs, hotels, business from home, fleet
This role is project based - not just analysis. There will be alot of interaction with underwriters, marketing, finance and operations teams.
Active review of the rates to achieve agreed operating results through the insurance cycle
The design, specification and development of market leading pricing structures
Monitoring of performance and exposure to ensure robust control of existing book
Monitoring performance of existing products.
Recommending/implementing rate changes to attain operating results target.
Building new products.
Scenario planning at account level to feed into the overall rating strategy
Requirements:
Degree in statistics/maths or previous experience in analytical roles.
Strong data manipulation skills and advanced/intermediate knowledge of SAS and Excel.
VB Access experience beneficial.
Good communicator capable of explaining clearly pricing decisions based on detailed analysis and influencing people.
Experience from within General Insurance ideally
