Principal Process Engr
Job Description:
Work as part of a multifunctional team in the area of flip-chip bonding/hybridization. The candidate will be responsible for sustaining process health (yield, throughput), reviewing and maintaining statistical process control (SPC), generating work instructions and training operators. Further responsibilities will be development of next generation flip chip bonding/hybridization processes and transitioning to production. Candidate will also be responsible for future tool determination, purchase and prove in.
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years of professional engineering experience.
Solid foundation in flip-chip bonding/hybridization
Sound knowledge of basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts
Extensive laboratory/semiconductor fabrication experience (Class 100)
Good mechanical aptitude and/or chemical handling ability
Excellent computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Effective communication and technical writing skills
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)and Design of Experiments (DOE/ANOVA) Understanding of basic semiconductor physics
Desired Skills:
Hands on experience with SET FC-150 or FC-300 Flip Chip Bonders
Experience with Infrared materials processing
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings or schematics
Familiarity with various microscopes and inspection techniques Visual Basic, G code, C+, or other computer programming experience
A motivated and self-starting individual who interacts well in a team environment
Required Education(including Major) :
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science
Masters Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science preferred
