Private Duty RN - pediatrics
UPMC is seeking pediatric private duty RN s with at least one year of pediatric experience to provide nursing services to clients in their homes. Cases are available in Pittsburgh and surrounding communities. Responsibilities -Provide all client care including, but not limited to, medications, IV therapy and other required treatments -Respects and maintains confidentiality of all clients -Recognizes and interprets client symptoms, communicating changes to appropriate personnel -Institutes all interventions within the legal scope and limits of nursing practice defined by the state board of nursing -Coordinates and manages all physical and psychosocial care of clients by directing appropriate referrals as necessary, assuring client needs are met -Maintains accurate and complete written records in accordance with UPMC Private Duty Services policies and procedures Basic Qualifications -Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required -At least one year of pediatric RN experience is required -A BSN is preferred Licensure/Certifications -Current Pennsylvania RN license is required -CPR certification is required -Act 33, 34, and 73 clearances are required Salary Range: 22.88 26.96 34.07 UPMC is an equal opportunity employer. ------------
