Private Equity Associate- Shanghai recruitment
The Associate will be responsible for:
- Sourcing and executing investment opportunities in the consumer goods, consumer services, and agribusiness sectors
- Manage transactions from sourcing through exit
- Working in tandem with portfolio operations and transaction teams
- Daily interaction with portfolio company management teams and weekly offsite travel
- General management role to help oversee team of investment analysts and associates.
Successful candidates should possess 1) an excellent investment sense and 2) the ability to manage transactions from sourcing through exit while working in tandem with Lunar’s portfolio operations and transaction teams.
Candidates should also possess the following qualities:
- 5+ years of relevant experience with direct private equity experience preferred
- Open to look at really strong Investment Banking Backgrounds
- Keen entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to interact, assist and engage with management
- Exposure to and experience in analyzing a broad range of business models in China
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills and ability to support investment recommendations with in-depth fundamental analysis
- Prior experience sourcing and executing transactions in mainland China
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate views clearly and confidently
- High integrity with commitment to global best practices
- Ability to manage a team of analysts
- Native fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese
