Private Equity Fund Analyst
A dynamic firm who have established themselves as one of the most successful Private Equity Houses in the City focusing on Secondary Funds. With a slick, and evolving business model, the business is looking to hire a Private Equity Fund Analyst to join a close knit team.
As a Private Equity Fund Analyst you will work very closely with the Investment team to take ownership of the firm's Company Data Analysis
Working within a small but established team you will assist with a variety of different tasks so this is an excellent opportunity to progress your experiences within Private Equity and analysis skills.
Your duties will include but is not limited to:
-Analysis of data sets to demonstrate composition and performance of investments.
-Analysis of portfolio company data which will result in the publication of research.
-Data analysis and capturing data for fund of funds and portfolio company investments.
-Completion of reporting to specific deadlines.
-Ad-hoc project work including assisting with implementing system/ process improvements as required.
-Working with Excel on a daily basis.
-Liaising with various internal counter-parties, working closely with different teams to assist with research analysis.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies
-You MUST have advanced working knowledge of Excel.
-You MUST have experience of one of the following: Company Data Analysis/ Valuations Analysis/ Equity Analyst/ Research Analysis or Performance Analysis gained within the Private Equity/ Asset Management/ Hedge Fund or Investment Banking arena.
-You MUST be highly analytical/ numerate with strong problem solving skills.
-Professional qualifications such as the CFA/ CAIA would be beneficial.
