It invests both minority and majority stakes in buy-outs, expansions and acquisitions in mainly private companies and focuses on growing businesses over the mid term. The catalyst to hire is the firm’s newly raised fund and an additional resource at the analyst/associate level is sought. The role will involve financial analysis, modelling, deal structuring, business analysis and due diligence for new investments, portfolio assets as well as exits. You will also be tasked with project management of the due diligence process, monitoring and reporting of portfolio companies and interaction with a wide variety of external stakeholders.
You will most likely have more than three years’ experience and this may have been gained from the business development team of a corporate or the corporate finance team within an accounting firm or an investment bank. You will be personable, possess strong presentation and communication skills and be a good team fit. You will also demonstrate commercial nous and entrepreneurial traits as well as a passion for investing.
