Private Equity Risk Analyst recruitment

Black River’s Private Equity Investment Risk Group is seeking an Analyst to help coordinate the risk oversight and investment analysis across Black River’s Private Equity Platform.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensure that a consistent, high quality approach to investment assessment is followed and provide independent review of proposed transactions
- Coordinate and participate in the setting and review of due diligence (DD) items prior to investment
- Support investment execution, monitoring, review valuation processes
- Coordinate and provide analytics on investee company financial reporting
- Assist in the development and application of environmental, social and governance principles across the Private Equity Platform
- Prepare and provide other specialized reporting used in the oversight of the private equity portfolio
- Assist with other projects as required
QUALIFICATIONS: Required:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis / financial modeling programs
- Previous financial analyst work experience in Private Equity, Alternative Investment, Investment Banking or related area
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in finance or business related degree
- MBA
- Five or more years experience in Private Equity financial analysis
