Analyzes most complex financial and credit information for larger Commercial business or high net worth customer loans according to business unit standards. Underwrites high net worth loans with higher aggregate credit exposure and may manage a more complex portfolio and customer base. Compiles, analyzes, and documents loan data and credit risk, borrower and property information. May perform research and analysis related to loan projects, such as industry studies and management reports. May cross-sell products and services. May negotiate loan provisions. May mentor or review analysis of less experienced underwriters.
Basic Qualifications
6+ years underwriting experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of a formal commercial credit training program or equivalent. Six or more years of commercial lending experience in Credit, Portfolio Management, Credit Administration, Relationship Management or equivalent experience. Knowledge of financial accounting theory and logic, loan structuring, commercial products and services. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to work in a fast paced, production environment. Interpret and discuss analytical data. Must be an excellent communicator and able to excel in a team environment. Able to multi-task and prioritize. Proficient with computers and software applications and applicable mainframe systems. Self-starter, results and process oriented, collaborative team player, maintain client and business focus, solutions oriented.
