Specific Job Description This position performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations or delivery order projects, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations. Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of contract support activities or the delivery order to be managed. Develops plans, schedules, and resource estimates for projects and programs using established project management standards. Establishes and alters (as necessary) management structure to direct effective contract support activities or assigned delivery order projects. Standard Job Description Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
