Process Engineering Technician Job in Bridgeton 63044, Missouri Us

Continental Commercial Products, a leading manufacturer distributor of plastic commercial, consumer and OEM products, seeks a new Process Engineering Technician. Position will report to the Process Engineering Supervisor and will be responsible for, but not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITES:
Run processing trials for both materials and product development.
Run Design of Experiments. (DOE)
Program robots.
Optimum cycle time
Troubleshoot and develop permanent corrective action for various product defects.
Work with Set-up, Tooling and Maintenance to improve downtime
Participate continuous improvement teams for cycle time scrap reduction.
Assist with production for start up, shut down.
Assist corrective action teams for root cause analysis and permanent corrective action procedures.
Analyze and develop work station layouts for labor optimization.
Other duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s Degree or related vocational Diploma in electrical/hydraulic mechanics.
Minimum of 5 years in processing / engineering experience in high-volume Injection molding.
Gas Assist and Structural Foam Molding experience helpful
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
May participate in housekeeping, 6S, and/or in Lean activities.
Adhere to all safety procedures.
Excellent analytical problem solving skills
Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
