Procurement Category Manager
An opportunity has arisen for a Category Manager with Professional Services category knowledge to join a dynamic, FTSE business.
Working closely with the Senior Category Managers for Professional Services and Marketing, this role will influence a large European spend of c£100m across sub-categories such as Consultancy, Legal, Audit as well as Above the Line and Below the Line Marketing spend. The Category Manager will be given autonomy to make decisions and develop strategic stakeholder and supplier relationships.
Working with UK and European stakeholders, you will analyse spend patterns and develop innovative supply strategies ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and maximizing savings opportunities. You will lead negotiations and identify and implement process improvements across the categories.
It is essential that you have a flexible approach and are happy with a travel across the UK and some international travel.

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate strong procurement skills with some current or very recent knowledge of the Professional Services Category and supply market as well as first class commercial acumen and analytical skills. You will have a consultative, but hands on, approach and be able to build relationships and influence at a senior level. Importantly, you will be a self-starter that thrives in a target driven, demanding company culture and is passionate about delivering results.
