Procurement Clerk Job in Scottsdale 85260, Arizona US
JOB SUMMARY: Prepare purchase orders into Oracle System and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests. Acknowledge PO’s
· Acknowledge PO’s on a regular basis and Inform SOP organization about status of these PO’s
· Support SOP organization by participating to regular conference call with the EMS.
· Respond supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations
· Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other similar problems.
· Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
· Maintain and review with the help of the EMS Partner manager, purchasing files, reports and price lists.
· Check shipments alert when they arrive to ensure that invoices have been filled correctly and are in line with The PO’s and that goods meet specifications.
· Approve bills for payment and support Finance Department in this specific tasks
· Monitor EMS performance, report KPI’s defined by the EMS partner manager
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Procurement experience, preferably in an Engineering environment.
· Experience in MRP systems such as Oracle
· Experience of expediting suppliers to meet programme deliverables.
· Strong negotiation skills and familiar with terms and conditions.
· Spread sheet development and data management.
SKILLS
· Strong numerical and analytical skills.
· High proficiency in data handling and good attention to detail.
· Sound knowledge of finance including total cost of acquisition.
· Robust process skills.
· Strong organisational skills, with flexibility of understand and jointly manage a variety of projects.
· Proficiency using:
o Oracle or similar ERP system
o Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
o Microsoft Office Suite (Access/Project)
o Experience with Agile software is a plus.
