Procurement Director

 

 

Responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of purchasing and logistics across the supply chain. This position requires a strong negotiator capable of delivering results at competitive costs. 

 

Primary duties include:

§Supervise all direct reports in Purchasing

§Oversight responsibility for all aspects of purchasing and logistics.

§Leads the procurement and logistics group in defining and managing strategic supply chain initiatives to manage cost, reduce supply risk and strengthen supplier relationships

§Works closely with the purchasing manager in developing and communicating supply and supplier strategy (Purchasing Manager is a direct report).

§Creates and drives supply chain strategy providing a central point for supply chain direction and communications

§Identifies functional supply chain requirement gaps and develops alternative approaches including systems or process changes that will improve service and/or reduce cost

§Participate in Coated Product’s supplier material cost and logistics freight cost negotiations

§Serves as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee for all Coated Products Operations.

 

REQUIREMENTS

§         Executive level purchasing experience

§     A minimum of ten years experience related to multi-plant supply chain and procurement management with minimum material spend of $150mm.

§         Developed and implemented best practices in Procurement and Supply Chain areas from sourcing through manufacturing

§         BS degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field

§         MBA preferred

 

 

 

 

Continuous Improvement Manager

 

 

 

The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, lead the overall quality systems improvement efforts and strive for corrective action through root cause determination.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

-Ten years of supervisory experience in a Coating and Converting environment

-Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience

-Excellent organizational and motivational skills

-Strong technical skills and the ability to develop personnel

-A four year technical degree is required
