ConocoPhillips? repositioning is subject to market conditions, customary regulatory approvals, the receipt of an affirmative ruling from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, the execution of separation and intercompany agreements and final board approval. This position will reside within the Procurement organization of the future ConocoPhillips, the upstream company. : Both a strategic and tactical ?working role? to produce procurement and contracting work strategies, performance reports, and product deliverables as part of the integrated Eagle Ford (EF) Capital Facility Project management team in ConocoPhillips Gulf Coast Business Unit (GCBU). The EF is a ?Green Field? project which has added over 50 MBOEPD to GCBU production. Within Capital Facility Projects, the EF will build condensate stabilization complexes, over 165 single central well facilities, and numerous 4? ? 16? pipelines to transport product for sale. Flawless execution of this multi-billion dollar EF project is imperative to the BU meeting its LRP targets on both cost and production, and this Procurement role will be instrumental to this success. Accountability to Eagle Ford Project Manager and Procurement Supervisor to prepare all requirements for successful project planning and execution. Success equals accomplishment of the ?primary functions? listed below which provides COP with a game plan for executing the procurement aspects of this project. Responsibilities may include: Develop Procurement Plan for EF Capital Facilities Projects Key Interface - provide key interface between the Project Procurement team leadership and all team members and functions within BU, GPS, etc. Strategy Development ? lead development of a procurement strategy and tactical execution plan for EF Project equipment, material and service requirements Planning and Scheduling - build a procurement schedule by providing forward-looking input on contractual activities, work plans, delivery and other milestone schedules, and integrate those schedules with program and project integrated plans and schedules to enable on-time execution of project activities Procurement Status Reporting ? develop a reporting process tracking progress (planned and actual) of required equipment, material and services through agreed milestones including bids and negotiation results for all aspects of project Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) - lead continuous process improvement efforts to optimize interfaces, processes and tools Market Analysis - work closely with stakeholders and GPS (Market Intelligence, Category Management, etc.) to drive better informed procurement strategies and plans including local and multi-regional suppliers
