Procurement Senior Manager, Supply Chain, Advisory, Sydney

About the opportunity

Due to growth in the team, we're looking for a Senior Manager to join our Supply Chain Procurement Team in Sydney. The role will be focussed on participating in and/or managing the design and implementation of large organisation wide procurement improvement initiatives across multiple industries.

As a supply chain professional with proven skills in one or more areas of procurement, you'll work with business leaders to provide insights into how procurement can make a measurable contribution to the achievement of corporate objectives. You will have had responsibility in several of the following areas: enterprise level procurement strategy and governance; indirect goods/services sourcing; direct goods/services sourcing; category management; contract management; supplier performance management; procurement transformation program design and delivery; procurement data analytics; use of procurement related technology enablers; procurement capability building programs; and procurement benefits realisation. Your knowledge and skills will help enable our clients to effectively compete in the global market and maximise profitability.

Qualifications:
You must:
- Be tertiary qualified
-Have a minimum of 8 years solid procurement operational and/or consulting experience together with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the various procurement strategies than can be deployed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of an organisation's wider supply chain

Experience within a recognised supply chain consultancy or the internal consulting area of a Blue Chip organisation would be well regarded.

Program or Project Management responsibility for procurement performance improvement initiatives that have encompassed a range of procurement areas such as sourcing, use of technology enablers, and procurement organisational redesign would also be well regarded.
