Procurement Specialist – Sydney – 12 Month Contract

Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, we are presently looking for a Procurement Specialist with strong experience in the strategic sourcing space to join our commercially focussed team, key responsibilities include:
· Overall delivery of effective procurement of a diverse portfolio of services
· Management of contract renewals and expires
· Application of strategic procurement methodologies and consolidation
· Management of end to end sourcing process
· Manage ongoing stakeholder engagement and regular consultation with internal clients
· Participate in the development of specifications, statements of work, performance terms and/or acceptance criteria
· Negotiation with suppliers
Contract/Relationship Management:
· Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal customers
· Utilise appropriate procurement strategies and tactics for negotiations to obtain maximum value
· Ensure supplier cost, quality, and delivery performance is maximised
· Ensure successful compliance of suppliers with contractual terms
· Participate in supplier visits and evaluations
You will have related experience in procurement where you are able to demonstrate contract negotiation, financial modelling and trend analysis skills. In addition you will have strong project management skills, well developed negotiation skills and an ability to translate requirements to tangible outcomes.
