Full Job Description

The Trading Products Finance Change team has responsibility for the delivery of a number of front to back and cross-functional programmes on behalf of Finance and the wider business. Our main Finance customers include Product Control, Ledger Control, Statutory Reporting, and Regulatory Reporting. The team has a mix of professional programme and project managers, business analysts, and subject matter experts. We work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, responding and driving the work of upstream project managers and IT, as well as managing change to the Finance system architecture in conjunction with Finance IT.
We require a Finance Change Associate Business Analyst to contribute to projects for a very important ongoing Change Programme for the Product Control function in Finance. This programme delivers system and process change to remediate control weaknesses for London PC. The programme responds to heavy user demand for improved ledger functionality and reporting, processes and controls. It delivers very important and high profile fixes to control items.
We require am associate BA to work on PC oriented projects within thechange programme. The role performs business analysis work and works closely with Finance IT to deliver tactical and control improvement solutions. This is a busy and multiple stream programme, and therefore the BA needs to apply good analysis, documentation, and drive Finance IT solutions across a number of tactical improvement projects.

 Finance Change Professional - some experience as a Business Analyst in Project and Finance Change environments. Motivated to deliver solutions. Pragmatic and positive in approach.
 Product Control Knowledge - has a reasonable level of expertise or experience of Product Control processes and requirements.
 Product Knowledge - good working knowledge of a wide range of products and how they are accounted for and interact with Ledger systems.
 IT Knowledge - understands how to work with IT developers to develop and implement fixes and solutions.
- Qualified accountant preferred.
- Knowledge of Finance Systems
- Demonstrate good initiative, energy and vision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively at different levels within the organisation.
- Able to plan and prioritise their own workload efficiently and effectively.
- Able to identify and document system and control problems and deal with complex technical and system issues.
- Show tenacity and determination to overcome challenges and issues.
- Able to be creative in problem and issue resolution.
- Strong team player is essential.
