Product Control Specialist (Oil) recruitment
Our client, a significant player in the energy commodities markets is seeking to add to their Houston-based team. The successful candidate will join their product control group with responsibility for supporting the firm’s Crude and Refined Oil trading desk. Day to day tasks will include: producing PL, preparing the balance sheet, validating VaR calculations, developing the firm’s internal systems and partnering with the front office on all control-related issues.
This challenging role requires a background in accounting and/or finance, preferably within the Oil and/or Refined products sector, as well as advanced level Excel and outstanding problem-solving and communication skills.
