We are looking to hire an Associate within Securitized Products Group product control. Responsibilities will include:
• PL Production and liaison with the deployed PL function in Mumbai.
• Analytical review of the PL
• Monthly PL and Balance Sheet review and substantiation.
• Analysis of desk trading volumes, sales credits, Capital usage and cash management
• Ad-hoc work/projects for traders
Production and review of the PL will allow the candidate to develop an understanding of the following products within the credit field, including (but not limited to):
• Corporate and Asset Backed bonds
• Loans
• Corporate and Asset Backed CDS
• Index CDS
• There is extensive interaction with the business units and the support functions across finance and operations.
Skills Required
• Fast learner and self-motivated
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills and teamwork
• Ability to prioritize and work to firm deadlines
• An interest in financial products, particularly Fixed Income.
Skills Desired
• PL production/product experience within Credit is preferred.
• Qualified accountant preferred
