Product Controller-ACA-Major Banking Group
The role for an exceptional product controller has become available to join a leading banking institution in supporting their central reporting team to monitor high level reporting activity related to enhancing and analytical review.
Our client is looking for a qualified accountant with a proven track record within the product control capacity and has a strong academic background. Successful Candidates can expect to run the end of day PL consolidation reporting process and the associated month end estimation, reconciliation and review processes together with preparation of associated commentaries. Other duties would include preparing consolidated PL commentaries on monthly balance sheet and PL, whilst also acting as the a primary contact on management reporting hierarchies, cost centre change and cost centre ownership processes.
Other key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
• Co-ordinate the quarterly product control deliverables through running of the timetable process
• Co-ordinate the reporting of IFRS 7 and 12 deliverables for product control, including the consolidation and review.
• Analytical review and follow up with Product Controllers and Group Finance – derivatives, financial investments, trading assets and liabilities etc.
• Month-end journal trend analysis to Senior Management
• Support ad-hoc reporting requests and projects
