Position Description

The candidate will be performing and leading a broad range of configuration management activities, including but not limited to Functional Configuration Audit/Physical Configuration Audit (FCA/PCA), in support of the B-1 program, plus other special assignments in support of program configuration management objectives as required. Leads activities to define and document product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management, and engineering processes. Develops, documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control. Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; conducts audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements. The candidate needs to have conducted Functional Configuration Audit/Physical Configuration Audit (FCA/PCA) and a good working knowledge of establishing and maintaining baselines. Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Level 3 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

US Citizenship Required :Ability to Obtain Interim and/or Final Clearances (Post Start) Good technical skills plus experience in configuration management discipline. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Expected to be able to work in a team environment, multitask and demonstrate basic leadership and training skills. Knowledge of software languages and software control processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including, MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Some travel may be required. A major plus would be proficiency in a configuration management tool
